Notice of the Filing of an Application for Permanent Employment Certification
The following notices are posted as a result of the filing of an application for permanent alien labor certification for these job opportunities. These postings will remain in public view for a period of at least 10 consecutive business days and must be made no more than 180 and no less than 30 days prior to filing the permanent labor certification application.
Assistant Professor of Criminal Justice
Responsibilities: Will be expected to maintain a productive research agenda and seek opportunities for external funding. Strong scholarship, along with a commitment to excellence in teaching and engagement, is expected of all tenure-track faculty members in the Radow College of Humanities and Social Sciences at KSU. Will be expected to teach courses in our undergraduate and graduate criminal justice program. The standard teaching load is 3/3; however, research intensive faculty may negotiate a six credit hours per semester (2/2) teaching load. Faculty in the department teach in a variety of modalities, including face-to-face, hybrid, and online. Courses may be taught on the 快猫成版视频 or Marietta campus and are offered during daytime and evening hours. Service to the Department, College, and University is also expected. Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines. Required Qualifications: PhD, or the foreign equivalent, in Criminology or Criminal Justice, or other closely related social science discipline.

Assistant Professor of Software Engineering
Nine-month position with optional summer teaching. Teaching expectations include teaching the graduate and undergraduate courses in Software Engineering. Faculty are expected to teach in a variety of instructional modalities, including face-to-face, hybrid, and online. Scholarship/Research expectations include seeking external grants and publishing scholarly work. Service to the Department, College, University, and/or professional community is expected. Participating in course and program development activities. Participating in outreach and promotion activities. Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines. An earned PhD, or foreign equivalent, in computing, software engineering, or closely related field, is required.
