From her time at Osborne High School, Emily Manqueros knew she wanted to do research in physics, not just study it. The rising junior from Smyrna said classes in astronomy and physics taught her how physical forces effect everything around her, and she wanted to immerse herself in them. So, she came to 快猫成版视频 for the opportunity to conduct research right away as a freshman. 鈥淗onestly, the research opportunities drew me to KSU,鈥� said Manqueros, who is pursuing a bachelor鈥檚 degree in physics in 快猫成版视频 State鈥檚 College of Science and Mathematics. 鈥淥ther colleges mainly take graduate students for their research, and I knew that at KSU I could do meaningful research even if I was an undergraduate student.鈥�

快猫成版视频鈥檚 economic impact in metro Atlanta increased to nearly $2.15 billion in fiscal year 2023, according to a University System of Georgia (USG) report released Wednesday. 快猫成版视频 State鈥檚 FY 2023 economic impact in the 29-county Atlanta Metropolitan Statistical Area marked a 5.6% increase from $2.03 billion the previous year. The total impact of all 26 USG institutions on their communities was $21.9 billion in fiscal year 2023, up 9% from $20.1 billion in FY 2022.
