Location, affordability among reasons KSU is No. 1 in Georgia for incoming transfers

In fall 2017, the timeframe utilized for the report, 2,671 new transfer students enrolled at 快猫成版视频 State, the highest number for any school in the state. KSU also ranked 31st nationally.

In addition to those who have earned their two-year degree, many transfer students are adult learners 鈥� defined as those over age 23 鈥� and transfer freshman, first-year students who change schools after one semester.

Some transfer students are Georgia residents who began college at an out-of-state school. Cost often is the main factor in their decision, Talreja said, as students opt for more affordable in-state tuition and the financial aid options at 快猫成版视频 State.
