Research Seed Funding

The Grand Challenges Interdisciplinary Seed Grants program is intended to support activities that create and advance large-scale, competitive research proposals (e.g., NIH program awards, NSF research centers, or other awards worth $1,000,000+). Funding can be used to collect preliminary data or facilitate collaborations. It is expected that funded teams will submit a competitive large-scale funding proposal within one year of completion of the internal award. Funding can be requested in any interdisciplinary area and should align with one of the four research communities (i.e., Sustainable Communities, Innovative Creativity, Health and Wellness, and Applied Technologies).

Applications should be submitted via InfoReady by 5:00 PM on Thursday, 10/17/2024.
