Ayg眉n spent most of his academic career at the University of Alabama in Huntsville as a professor in the Computer Science Department. His research on protein crystalization led him to be a co-author of a book titled, 鈥淒ata Analytics for Protein Crystallization.鈥�

He has worked on diverse research related to data mining, data modeling, data communications, cybersecurity, bioinformatics, machinelearning, big data analytics, robotics, and more.

Ayg眉n has a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
